  A Mimber (pulpit) for Masjid Al-Salaam Edmonton AB The Mimber is constructed using Oak wood and 3/4" ply. Has three steps plus about 18" high step for the Imam/Khateeb to sit comfortably.  The Mimber has a storage space on the left and has its own wiring and panel for connecting sound system. The storage space has its own light that turns on upon opening the door. The Mimber will be further enhanced to house a microphone inside a baluster. The microphone would popup upon pushing a button and then could be pulled out. Prayer Times for home The program was originally developed for Masajid to help them display and maintain prayer times with ease. If you need the program for a Masjid, please contact me for the Masjid version of the program. During Covid-19 Lock-Down, congregation was limited. Considering the feelings of Muslims in the city during the holy month of Ramadhan , the city government allowed calling Maghrib Azan outside of Masajid as well. The Azan was not loud enough to hear in the next block. My family wished that they could hear the Azan at the time of Iftar (breaking fast). This prompted me to modify the program to run on home computer. When I bought my Dell ST2410b monitor for home, I wasn't planning of using it for coding so I didn't pay much attention on its stand, besides it was on sale !!! Later a friend asked me to build a display program and I wished I could change monitor's orientation. As it didn't had the capability so I kind of lived with it. The Mother of all inventions -Necessity In April 2020 COVID-19 panadamic struck the world and forced us into lock-down. Like many fortunate ones, I also started working from home. Initially I was hoping that it would be for a short-time and then everything will be normal. As the date started getting extending and I was getting problem in coding, I decided to build a stand that could allow changing orientation. Any other feature, Yes!
